Trent Bridge began the process of rebranding in 2008. Though to call it a ‘rebrand’ seems wrong. This world-famous place has huge historical significance and charm, with loyal staff and members – the very walls are imbued with character and love. Working with the studio at Purple Circle, I helped create a set of brand guidelines and subsequent marketing, internal comms and signage pieces with a fresh yet timeless look, feel and tone. The copy, where appropriate, gives a playful nod to the voices of the past – paring back in tonality for corporate hospitality pieces. It’s a fun and flexible approach for a fun and flexible venue.
