DLF aren’t your average property developers. They create whole communities of luxury apartments, houses, shops, offices and leisure facilites set in beautiful landscaped gardens, on the outskirts of Delhi. I was asked to write a brochure to sell the benefits of investing in a ‘shop-come-office’ in ‘Gardencity’, New Gurugram – one of DLF’s most recent developments. Coming at it with zero prior knowledge and a language barrier, I thoroughly interrogated the brief and filled in any gaps with research on New Gurugram, the luxury housing market in India and DLF’s target market. A challenging project, which took me far, far away from the everyday.
